We the members of Department of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement of Karnataka solemnly resolve to toil ceaselessly towards welfare and resettlement of exservicemen and their dependents and also all other connected tasks of the organisation in pursuit of excellence and profession.

Karnataka State has produced great Military Leaders like Field Marshal K M Carriappa, Gen K S Thimayya, General G G Bewoor, Air Chief Marshal L M Katre, Admiral O S Dawson and other IAS and IPS Cadre Officers.

Government of Karnataka is very proactive when it comes to welfare and resettlement of ex-servicemen and Next of Kin of Battle Casualties and their dependants.
